SOL-AFRICA SUPPLIERS (PTY) LTD — SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

Central Dispatch Hub: Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa

Payment Verification: Orders are queued for packing as soon as payment reflects in our account (Instant EFT or cleared card payments process immediately).
Order Cut-Off: Orders placed and paid before 12:00 PM (SAST) on business days are processed for same-day dispatch from our central Johannesburg depot.
Dispatch Days: Deliveries are dispatched Monday through Friday (excluding public holidays).

Individual panels or small quantities (1–3 panels) are packaged in custom reinforced crates to prevent micro-fracturing and flex damage during transport.
Bulk panel shipments (30+ panels) are palletized, corner-shielded, and shipped via dedicated tail-lift transport.

Lithium batteries are classified and transported as UN 3480 Class 9 Dangerous Goods under South African road transport regulations.
Curb-side Offloading: Heavy battery modules (45kg – 120kg+) are delivered on tail-lift vehicles. Courier drivers are restricted to offloading items to ground level at the driveway/curb. Customers must arrange assistance to move equipment indoors.

Location: Sol-Africa Suppliers (Pty) Ltd Central Logistics Depot, Unit 4, Gateway Industrial Park, Johannesburg.
Collection Protocol: Please wait for your "Ready for Collection" SMS/Email containing your unique release code before arriving.
Vehicle Requirements: Vehicles must be capable of laying solar panels flat or holding heavy battery modules securely upright. Depot staff reserve the right to decline loading onto unsafe or under-sized vehicles.

All shipments are insured in transit. To ensure claims are honored by freight underwriters:

Inspect Before Signing: Inspect outer packaging, wooden crates, and pallet strapping for damage before signing the courier waybill.
Note Damage: If outer damage is visible, endorse the driver's waybill as "RECEIVED DAMAGED" prior to signing.
24-Hour Reporting Window: Report physical damage to orders@sol-africa.co.za within 24 hours with photos of the outer packaging and serial tags so a replacement unit can be dispatched immediately.
